Memorial Day 2010

This video is from the World War II Memorial. There are 4,000 Gold Stars on the wall and each star represents 100 soldiers who were killed in World War II
At Arlington Cemetery there are 2 things that everyone makes sure to see, one is where JFK is buried, the second is the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Ernie Harwell Farewell Address

This video is from Sept. of 2009. Ernie Harwell was the long time announcer for the Detroit Tigers and on that night they were honoring Harwell for his years of service to the team. Last night Ernie Harwell died at the age of 92. He was an excellent announcer and this video is a fitting tribute to say goodbye to Mr. Ernie Harwell.
