C.C. Sabathia

This Friday Night the Cleveland Indians will be heading to Boston to take on the Red Sox. In the first round the Indians beat the Yankees 3-1. Many people thought that Manager Eric Wedge should have started C.C. Sabathia in Game 4 after the momentum seemed to shift to the Yankees, however Wedge decided to stick with Paul Byrd and he did not disappoint. The fact that Byrd was able to get it done was great for Sabathia. Now as he faces Josh Beckett, Sabathia will be pitching on plenty of rest and there is a possibility that he'll pitch Games 1, 4 & 7, and with Fausto Carmona pitching games 2 & 6 that means that the Indians will have their two 19 game winners pitching 5 out of 7 possible games. It will be a very good and a very tough series for the Indians, but as long as Sabathia is able to pitch like he did throughout the season and in Game 1 against New York, I am, confident that the Indians can beat the Red Sox and go to the World Series.
