The Boston Red Sox signed LF Carl Crawford to a 7 year $142 million contract. The signing came a few days after the Red Sox traded for 1B Adrian Gonzalez. Crawford is a four-time All-Star, and won the All-Star game MVP in 2009. Crawford has five seasons with at least 50 stolen bases and a career high of 60 in 2009.
