- Tennessee Titans - They drafted Michael Griffin from Texas. He's a good player but they needed to give franchise QB Vince Young some weapons on the Offense.
- Miami Dolphins - Brady Quinn fell into their lap and they decided to draft Ted Ginn Jr. I like Ginn but if you are a team that needs a QB and Brady Quinn falls into your lap you have to take him.
- The Underclassmen - Many underclassmen enter the draft because they think they will get picked in the first couple of rounds and end up being drafted in the 6th or 7th round (if they're lucky. Many don't even get drafted). If they would have stayed in college for one more year they would get drafted earlier next year. Hopefully other will learn from the mistakes of guys like Notre Dame RB Darius Walker, and stay in school.

NFL Draft Losers
Here are some of the losers from this past weekend's NFL Draft:
NFL Draft Winners
Here are some of the winners of the 2007 NFL Draft:
- Cleveland Browns - They got Joe Thomas, Brady Quinn, a slew of defensive players who will add much needed depth to the team.
- New England Patriots - Getting Randy Moss for a 4th round draft pick is highway robbery. They also picked up some good players in the picks that they kept.
- San Francisco 49ers - They got LB Patrick Willis, OT Joe Staley and WR Jason Hill.

Happy Birthday
Today is the birthday of former Cleveland Indians & current San Francisco Giants Shortstop Omar Vizquel. Today Omar turns 40.
My Sincere Apologies
I must apologize for the previous post, "THE CLEVELAND BROWNS ARE ON THE CLOCK". It was supposed to be a video of Chris Mortenson, Darren Woodson & Mel Kiper Jr. discussing what the Browns will do in this weekend's NFL DRAFT. Sadly the post did not work as planned and that is why there is nothing written. Thank you for your understanding & continued support.

My National League Preview
NL East- New York Mets: The Mets have a good combination of youth and veterans on their team.
NL Central- Milwaukee: The Brewers have a very good pitching staff, anchored by Ben Sheets.
NL West- Arizona: Although he is currently on the DL Randy Johnson will make this team much better.
NL Wild Card- Atlanta: Tim Hudson will go back to his Oakland form and will help the Braves challenge the Mets for the NL East Title but will sadly fall just short.
NL Cy Young- John Smotz: Smoltz will lead the league in wins, and ERA.
NL MVP- Jose Reyes: The Mets will win the East and it will be because of Reyes. He will hit around .300, with 25 HR and 75 SB.

And the team who will face the Cleveland Indians in the World Series will be:
THE ATLANTA BRAVES
In the World Series the Indians will beat the Braves 4-2 in the best of 7 series. The Indians have a deeper lineup, better starting pitchers and the bullpens are about even. And that is my baseball preview.
My American League Preview
With the MLB season only one week old I figured I would put in my two cents worth of baseball knowledge. Now I'm doing the AL preview and a little later today I'll do the NL preview.
First my Division winners
AL East- Boston: They have the pitching and the hitting which beats the Yankees who only have the hitting.
AL Central- Cleveland: The Indians have some great hitters, as long as Fausto Carmona can hold down the fort while Cliff Lee is rehabbing they should be just fine.
AL West- Oakland: They always find a way to win and this year with Mike Piazza at DH he will be hitting great once again.
AL Wild Card- Detroit: Gary Sheffield adds some legitimate pop in their lineup, and their bullpen is great once again.
AL Cy Young (I'm not just giving it to Johan Santana)- Disuke Matsuzaka: If he can pitch every game like he did against the Royals then there is no doubt that he will be up there in the voting.
AL MVP- Grady Sizemore: First of all Peter Gammons picked him to win, and you never pick against Gammons. Secondly, he can hit for average, power and he can steal bases. He is also the catalyst for the Indians potent line-up.
