The Browns were 5-7 entering the final quarter of the season and had a chance to be near .500 with games against Buffalo, Cincinnati, Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Peyton Hillis was at 962 yards on the season before this quarter of the season began. Hillis got his 1,000 yards but did little else.
