Aaron Hill resigned with the Arizona Diamondbacks on a 2 year contract worth $11 million. The Diamondbacks acquired Hill last season at the trading deadline for their 2B Kelly Johnson. Hill had a disappointing 2011 season but the Diamondbacks hope he can return to his 2009 form when he was an All-Star and batted .286 with 36 HRs & 108RBIs. The Diamondbacks made the playoffs this past season and are a team on the rise with young stars like Justin Upton, Stephen Drew & Chris Young. If Hill contributes the way he has shown he can then the Diamondbacks can be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
